Forbes Magazine Galleries. Located in the Forbes Magazine headquarters, this small museum contains the eclectic possessions of the late Malcolm S. Forbes, Sr. The multi-millionaire financier had a penchant for the offbeat. The collection includes 500 model boats, 12,000 toy soldiers, and several troves of former US Presidents’ personal papers. Of particular note is a room tracing the history of the game Monopoly —check out the “Oligopoly” version made just for Forbes, using properties he actually owned. The galleries host an array of changing exhibits; call for details. Recent exhibits include Japanese children’s kimonos and Victorian Staffordshire portrait figures.
