All commercial flights fly into Lihue Airport (LIH). Direct flights to Kauai from the mainland are rare—most passengers connect in Honolulu. However, American Airlines (☎800-433-7300; www.aa.com) has daily nonstop service to Kauai from Los Angeles, and United Airlines (☎800-241-6522; www.united.com) flies direct daily from Los Angeles and San Francisco. Hawaiian Airlines (☎800-367-5320; www.hawaiianair.com) flies to: Honolulu, Oahu; Hilo, the Big Island; and Kahului, Maui. Flights from Honolulu begin around $130 round-trip.
