The West End specializes in multicultural cuisine and small sidewalk cafes, particularly along Boundary St. and Hardgrave Rd. Fortitude Valley’s Chinatown has cheap Asian fare, while trendier New Farm and the CBD have more expensive eateries. Woolworths supermarket is located downstairs at Macarthur Central in the Queen Street Mall (open M-F 8am-9pm, Sa 8am-5:30pm, Su 9am-6pm). For ice cream, try Cold Rock Ice Creamery opposite Little Stanley St., along the river in the Arbour View Cafes in the South Bank Parklands.
