Buses: Hobart has 2 major bus terminals serving 2 major bus lines.
- Central Transit Centre, 199 Collins St. Timetables available for Redline Coaches (☎1300 360 000, line open daily 6am-10pm), which runs to Launceston (2hr., 2-4 per day, $31.50) with connections to: Bicheno (2hr., M-F 1 per day, $28); Burnie (2hr., 3 per day, $30); Devonport (1hr., 4 per day, $22.10); Saint Helens (2hr., M-F and Su 1 per day, $47). 20% student and YHA discount.
- Tassielink Terminal, 64 Brisbane St., is the hub for Tassielink buses (☎1300 300 520).
