Hobart’s best sights are a bus ride away: the fantastic tours of the Cascade Brewery and Cadbury chocolate factory, as well as the famous peaks of Mt. Wellington and Mt. Nelson, are outside of central Hobart. However, the city itself will provide you with a few hours of sightseeing downtown, and Salamanca Pl. and Battery Point are wonderful places to wander.
