Hat Kai Bae has a good selection of restaurants, bars, Internet cafes, and bungalows without the overcrowding and conspicuous consumption found on Hat Sai Khao. The beach, though occasionally covered with dead coral and rocks, also is a good jumping-off point for exploring the island’s south side.
