Trains arrive from: Camucia-Cortona ( $ €4.30. h 1½hr., 6 per day 8am-9:30pm.); Florence ( $ €11. h 2½hr., 7 per day 5:50am-9:30pm.); Perugia ( $ €2.40. h 30min., 14 per day 8am-8pm.); Rome. ( $ €17. h 2hr., 4 per day 7:45am-8pm.)

APM buses arrive in P. Matteotti. They're a cheap option for trips between Assisi and Perugia. They leave Perugia from P. Partigiani. ( $ €3. h 1¼hr., 9 per day.)

APM (☎800 51 21 41 www.apmperugia.it) services Assisi with three shuttle lines. Lines A and B do loops around major sights and monuments every 40min. Line C runs from the train station to P. Matteotti every 30min. Buy tickets at tabaccherie and the train station bar for €1.50.

Radio Taxi provides 24hr. taxi service (V. Arco dei Priori 1☎075 81 31 00 www.radiotaxiassisi.it). A cab stand is in front of the train station.
