Positano Transportation to Positano

Positano is best reached by blue SITA buses. There is no central bus station: Positano's many bus stops all sit on the elevated road above the coastal centro. From the stops, either walk 10-20min. down the steps or road, or take a small orange bus marked “Positano Interno” to the coast. ( $ €1. h Every 10-15min.) Arriving in Positano, either get off at Chiesa Nuova (in front of “Bar Internazionale”) or Positano Sponda (near V. Cristoforo Colombo and closer to the centro). From any of Positano's stops, buses run to and from Sorrento ( h 1hr., 31 per day 7:10am-12:40am.) and Amalfi. (45 min., 31 per day 6am-12:50am.) Buy tickets at tabaccherie. By water, ferries and hydrofoils arrive at the port on Spiaggia Grande.
