From the train station, walk down Via Cavour, the first street perpendicular to the train station, through Piazza della Repubblica all the way to Piazza Plebiscito, which is right in front of the relaxing Villa Comunale, and turn left to get a view of the port. Walk down the street that borders the port to Piazza Trieste, where you’ll find the I.A.T tourist office, P. Trieste 10, 2nd fl. (☎0883 58 88 30).
