Another discount option is the Barcelona Card. The card is good for 2-5 days and includes free public transportation (on the Metro, daytime buses, and trains to the airport) and nearly 80 discounts (and sometimes free admission) at museums, cultural venues, theaters, and a few bars and clubs, shops, and restaurants. They are sold at tourist offices, Casa Batlló, El Corte Inglés, the Aquarium, and Poble Espanyol. Prices for 2-5 days range €24-36 for adults and €20-31 for ages 4-12. For students (usually with ISIC card; ISOS accepted less often), it may be cheaper to use student discounts to get into attractions.
