Barcelona Vall D’Hebron And Horta-Guinardó

Museu De Carruatges. This museum has 46 exhibits that include work carriages, luxury carriages, and 600 or so coachmen’s accessories. The Piera family, whose company was in charge of street cleaning and refuse collection in the early 1900s, oversaw this museum’s creation. This is not a destination in and of itself unless you are a wild-hearted carriage enthusiast, but worth seeing if you’re in the area. (Pl. de Josep Pallach, 8. Mundet or buses #10, 27, 60, 73, 76, 85, and 173 all stop nearby. From the Metro, walk down Av. Can Marcet and make a right onto Pl. de Joan Comudella. Pl. de Josep Pallach is off Pl. de Joan Comudella. ☎934 27 58 13. Open Su 10am-1pm. Groups can organize tours during the week 10am-1pm by calling in advance. Free.)
