Poble Nou is dominated by a slew of fancy hotels. Cheap accommodations are scarce, and even the most affordable hotels are pricey. Those who are set on staying close to the beaches in this neighborhood but don’t want to spend upwards of €200 per night might do better by searching online for apartments available to rent by the day or week.

Hotel Pere IV, C. Pallars, 128-130 (☎933 20 96 50; www.salleshotels.com). Bogatell. Go north 1 block on C. Zamora and take a right on C. Pallars. One of the more affordable of the many giant hotels in Poblenou. Pere still boasts plenty of perks: heated indoor pool, sauna, and ornate, comfortable rooms. Doubles €75-220. AmEx/MC/V.
