Barcelona Sants
The neighborhood around Sants-Estació is a bit removed from the heart of the city, but there are plenty of safe lodgings for
late-night arrivals, and the area is well connected by Metro to Pl. de Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Be forewarned: though good-value
accommodations exist in Sants, there are many hotels and hostels which offer rooms that would cost significantly less elsewhere
in the city.
- Hostal Sofia, Av. Roma, 1-3 (☎934 19 50 40; www.hostalsofia.es). Sants Estació. Directly across from the front of the station; cross C. Numància on the left and look
up for the blue sign. A sunlit hostel with clean, well-priced rooms, some with A/C. Singles €35; doubles €50, with bath €60;

- Hostal Residencia Sans, C. Antoni de Campany, 82 (☎933 31 37 00). Sants Estació. Leave the station from the back and follow C. Antoni across C. Sants; look for the large vertical yellow
sign on the left as you cross the plaça. 7 floors of clean, comfortable rooms with A/C overlooking Pl. de Sants. Internet €1 per 30min. Wheelchair-accessible. Singles

- Hostel One, C. Casteràs, 9 (☎933 32 41 92). Badal or Pl. de Sants. Helpful, English-speaking staff and cheerful rooms with wooden bunks. Rooftop terrace and common
room with TV, DVDs, kitchen and pool table (€1 per game). Locker, towels, and sheets included. Wash and dry €5. Free internet;
Wi-Fi in lobby. 2- to 6-bed dorms €20-38 depending on season and size of room. MC/V.
- Hostal Béjar, C. Béjar, 36-38 (☎933 25 59 53). Sants Estació. Exit the front of the station to the right onto C. Rector Triado. Take the 1st left onto C. Mallorca and
then a right on C. Béjar. Clean rooms and a welcoming lounge with TV tucked away in an unassuming brick building. Doubles
