  • Entrance Requirements
  • Passport . Required for citizens of all foreign countries. Citizens of EU states may also use their national identity card.
  • Visa . Required for citizens of all non-EU states, except Iceland, Norway, and Switzerland. Visitors from select countries, including the US, the UK, and Canada, may stay for up to 90 days without a visa.
  • Work Permit . Citizens from states that participate in the European Economic Area (EEA) do not need a permit to work in Spain or Portugal. All other foreigners should apply for work visas at their nearest embassy.
