Sevilla Triana

Come to Triana for a break from traditional cafeterías and tapas joints. Of course, there are plenty of those here too, but this gritty neighborhood’s main attraction is its delicious and varied international cuisine. You’ll find restaurants serving cuisine from Japan, Argentina, Mexico, and the Middle East packed along Calle Salado.

  • Café-Bar Jerusalém, C. Salado, 6. Neighborhood kebab bar with falafel and chicken, lamb, pork, and cheese shawarma (€3-5.50). Open M, W-Th, and Su 8pm-2am; F-Sa 8pm-3am
  • Mingthao, C.Salado, 4 This elegantly decorated pan-Asian restaurant serves food from Japan, China, Korea, and Thailand. Nationally themed set menus run €7.50-13, but it’s the impressive €8 buffet that keeps the locals streaming in (served M-Th lunch and dinner, F lunch only). Limited vegetarian options. Open daily 12:30pm-midnight
