CENTRO ANDALUZ DE ARTE CONTEMPORÁNEO. If you’re interested in Spain’s vibrant art scene, the 10-minute trek across the river from the Estación de Armas is worth it. The interior of this repurposed monastery complex is a labyrinth of clean white spaces exhibiting everything from a collection of works inspired by writer Frederico García-Lorca to a room-sized late 20th-century take on the medieval tapestry. The monestary church at the center of the complex has been restored and is included in the cost of admission. The centro also frequently hosts special exhibitions and film viewings. (Av. Américo Vespucio, 2. ☎955 037 070; www.caac.es. From the Plaza de Armas, walk 2 blocks to the left along Calle Torneo and cross the narrow Puente de la Cartuja; signs will direct you to the entrance. Open Tu-F 10am-9pm, Sa 11am-9pm, Su 10am-3pm. Last entry 30min. before closing. €3; €1.80 for monastery or art alone. Tu free.)
