Sevilla is a great place to find Andalusian crafts, such as hand-embroidered silk, lace shawls, and traditional flamenco wear, albeit often at inflated tourist prices. El Centro, the area including C. las Sierpes, C. San Eloy, C. Velázquez, and C. Francos, offers a wide array of crafts, including ceramic shops, the most popular Spanish clothing chains, and hundreds of tiny shoe boutiques and jewelry stores. In Santa Cruz, the streets are packed with identical souvenir shops selling bullfighting and flamenco-themed clothing, trinkets, and postcards. A large, eclectic flea market is held Thursday 9am-2pm, extending along C. Feria. In February, July, and August, all of the stores hold huge rebajas (sales), during which everything is marked down 30-70%.
