Espot Overview

The gateway to the eastern half of the park and the best point of entrance coming from Barcelona, the tiny town of Espot is comprised mostly of rustic restaurants and quiet accommodations for the weary hiker. Espot also boasts the Torre dels Moros, a medieval defense tower. Those with cars can park at the last parking lot, just outside the park entrance. The hike up to Estany Sant Maurici takes around 50-60 mins.
