Marylebone (MAR-leh-bone) is defined by its eclectic borders. Adjacent to academic Bloomsbury in the east, beautiful Portland Place stands as an architectural wonder. To the west, Edgware Road houses London’s largest Lebanese population and boasts many Middle Eastern eateries, shops, and markets. Marylebone Road should be avoided except as a gateway to romantic Regent’s Park, while Marylebone High Street is full of preppy cafes, pubs, restaurants, and boutiques. Baker St. is convenient for northern sights; Bond St. covers the south. There are two separate Edgware Rd. stations, but they aren’t far apart.
