JERWOOD SPACE. Primarily a rehearsal space for the performing arts, the Jerwood Space gives promising young artists a leg up, most famously by hosting the prestigious Jerwood Painting Prize exhibition (early May to mid-June). POUSSIN GALLERY. Very much a hidden gem, this gallery specializes in contemporary abstract paintings and sculptures by British artists, many of whom also exhibit at the Hayward and Whitechapel.
