The Photographers’ Gallery. The largest public gallery in London devoted entirely to photography, the photographer’s gallery never fails to please and inspire. Displays usually feature a single artist’s work, ranging from classic landscape to socially conscious photography. A small cafe, print shop, and bookshop (named the “best photography bookshop in Europe” by the Times) are on the second floor. Frequent gallery talks, book readings, walking tours and film screenings are free; occasional photographers’ talks may charge admission. For 52 years, we have published the world’s favorite budget travel guides, written entirely by students and updated every year. With pen and notebook in hand and a few changes of underwear stuffed in our backpacks, we spend months roaming the globe in search of travel bargains.
