With swarms of young people in the area, it comes as a surprise that Camden Town’s nightlife is centered on only a handful of clubs and bars. The local council is famously draconian: bars shut at 11pm, period. Though Camden’s music scene is unbeatable, you may want to grab a few drinks here before heading to adjacent neighborhoods for your late-night fun. Though it’s slowly begun to accumulate a couple popular spots, nightlife in Islington is usually good for loungers and drinkers who bar hop around Upper St. before heading to Clerkenwell’s mega-clubs, just a short jaunt away.
