Travel addicts and outdoorsy types around the world are abuzz over an article in the latest edition of National Geographic magazine. The piece documents the recent discovery of the world's largest cave in Vietnam's Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. The national park contains one of the most unique and impressive cave and grotto systems on the planet and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Like the characters in Francis Ford Coppola's movie, travelers to Vietnam can take their own boat trip through the Vietnamese jungle toward the Cambodian border. Outside of Kon Tum, young Bahnar boys of Konkoitu pass the day floating up and down the muddy, lazy Dakbla in their long dugout canoes, bringing goods up from town or sometimes just idling the day away.
