Basic dorms and a rooftop terrace that provides the only real common space. Good for people who want beds to sleep in but nothing fancy. Parking available 100Kč per night. Hostel 5, Plzeňská 23 (☎776 337 852; www.hostel5.com), Trams 4, 7, 9, 10, Bertramka tram stop. From the tram, walk east on Plzeňská; the hostel will be on your right. A ways south of Malá Strana in Smíchov, this place should be your absolute last resort. If the broken windows in the surrounding buildings don’t dissuade you, be prepared for minimum accommodations, less-than-sparkling facilities, and a generally inattentive staff. Linens included.
