Prague (Praha) Dejvice

  • Roundabout, Having found no decipherable history on this strangely enchanting giant roundabout, we have nothing more to say than, look! The thing is huge and has a colorful garden in the center; it's perhaps the only thing that would draw tourists to Dejvice. A: Dejvická.
  • Bronze Horse Fountain, Between Kafkova and Wuchterlova Streets Three bronze horses, created by Czech sculptor Michal Gabriel, wade in the waters of the fountain. It's a sight (and bath) for sore eyes on a boiling summer day, and the 24 trees surrounding the fountain will gladly offer shade. A: Dejvická. Keep right after the round about and turn right at Kafkova.

  • Smichov
  • Santoška Park, A little park atop a hill overlooking Smichov and parts of downtown Prague. Frequented by locals, many people come here to sunbathe in the summer or read a book and picnic in the grass ...more
