When it comes to shopping, Munich is overrun by international chains. You can find just about anything you ever imagined in the city center with its three main shopping streets. Neuhauserstr. and Kaufingerstr. are connected pedestrian-only streets that run between Karlsplatz (Stachus) and Marienplatz and have no more than four separate H and M's within a half-mile. Maximillianstr. is Munich's latest seen-and-be-seen rip-off avenue with shops the likes of Prada and Louis Vuitton and cafes with €12 cups of coffee.
