Tangier has an abundance of cheap and clean accommodations; score 1 for you, intrepid traveler. You can either choose to stay in the medina or the ville nouvelle, depending on how much comfort you require and how much courage you have. On the whole, the ville nouvelle accommodations offer more amenities (read: toilet paper), while the medina's accommodations put you right in the heart of darkness, which is both exciting and kinda scary late at night.
