The doors are open until well into the afternoon on Su, when the huge dance floor, outdoor riverside patio, and innumerable bars are still humming with people. Caix is very much the territory of locals; though many people here belong to the slick clubbing crowd, a rougher set is also represented, so it’s wise to be careful. Crobar, Paseo de la Infanta s/n (☎4778 1500; www.crobar.com.ar). Local prepsters party with their foreign tourist counterparts at this mammoth 2300-person capacity club. The speakers blast techno remixes of American pop favorites that will leave your ears ringing the next day. Beer AR$10. 21+. Cover AR$25. Open F-Sa 10:30pm-late.
Rumi, Av. Figueroa Alcorta 6442 (☎4782 1307; www.rumiba.com.ar), at La Pampa. Popular every night, the small dance floor at this club is dominated by the young and beautiful. It might not be worth the price, but you’re bound to have a good time dancing to the techno. Cover AR$30-60, includes a Bud. Open Tu-Sa 1:30am-late.
Pachá, Av. Costanera Norte and Pampa (☎4788 4280; www.pachabuenosaires.com). Pick your way through the Porsche-packed parking lot to wait in line with the best (and no doubt brightest) of BA. Pachá makes its money by appealing to the jet set. Inside, you’ll find a large dance floor, several bars, plenty of flashing lights, and blasting electronica and house. Regularly hosts big name DJs. 21+. Cover AR$60. Open Sa 1-8am.
The Roxy Disco (www.theroxybsas.com.ar), at the intersection of Casares and Sarmiento, in the Arcos del Sol, across from the Planetarium . S Plaza Italia. Part of the Roxy franchise.
