Germany Economy

Germany has the third largest economy in the world that is particularly influential on the overall EU economy and on central and eastern Europe. It also remains the biggest exporter in the world, with exports accounting for 40% of German GDP. Though economic performance has been slow in recent years, especially in the east, where it is aggravated by a complicated tax system, Germany’s economy seems to be on the rebound. Inflation also remains a concern. However, unemployment continues to fall and overall trends in the economic and labor market are positive.
