and sorting foodstuffs.

- Goodwill Industries of Hawaii, 2610 Kilihau St., Honolulu, HI 96819 (☎808-836-0313; www.higoodwill.org). Goodwill expects a minimum commitment of a month, 16hr. per week of retail store support; revenue goes
to helping people with disabilities or other employment barriers find jobs. Volunteers can also help with donation drives.
- Hawaii Food Bank, 2611 Kilihau St., Honolulu, HI 96819 (☎808-836-3600; www.hawaiifoodbank.org). Volunteers are needed year-round for data entry and inspecting, cleaning, and sorting food, especially
for the annual food drive in Apr.
- Honolulu Habitat for Humanity, 1136 Union Mall, Ste. 510, Honolulu, HI 96701 (☎808-538-7070; www.habitat.org). A non-denominational, non-profit group that builds affordable housing. There are affiliates on all of
the other major islands as well.
