Thailand is an Internet savvy country. Internet cafes crowd Bangkok and Chiang Mai, and there’s a good chance that all but the most remote small towns and villages have at least one cyber cafe. Online rates are also often cheap, though rates can run anything from 0.5-3฿ per min. Many guesthouses and hotels also offer Internet and Wi-fi service—sometimes even free of charge.
