Thailand Climate

The high and low tourist seasons roughly match up to the aptly-named rainy and dry seasons of Southeast Asia. Generally, rainfall peaks from May to September, falling off from November to April. There is no uniform seasonal pattern for Thailand, except that it is generally very hot year-round. Keep in mind that the rainy season’s monsoons, while dramatic, are rarely severe enough to impede travel through the region.
