This tiny mountain country nestles high in the Pyrenees mountain range between Spain and France. The two countries shared sovereignty over Andorra until 1993, when the country chose to switch to parliamentary government. Andorra has some of the best skiing in the Pyrenees, and for many years its tourist industry focused on the winter season. Increasingly, however, tourists are attracted by the range of outdoor activities available during the summer, when fantastic weather combines with spectacular scenery to offer visitors an incredible experience.
