ORANGE
The town is easily navigable by foot. The train station is a straight shot into the centre-ville, on rue de la Republique, where you find the city’s shops. Place de la Republique is where you’ll find your requisite cafes and brasseries; turn left from the place to reach the theatre and its museum. Behind the theatre is the Parc colline Saint Eutrope, a hill that serves as the southern border to the town and the natural grade upon which the theater was built. The town’s boutique hotels and small shops are situated between these two locations, along with a network of alleyways that make little sense. Don’t worry though—if you get turned around, walking any direction for 5min. will bring you to the edge of town, and you can reorient yourself according to the Parc.
