ORLÉANS

The train station is a 2min. walk north of the town center on boulevard Alexandre Martin. To reach the vielle ville, follow rue de la République to place du Martroi. Continue south until rue de la République becomes rue Royale, which ends on the banks of the Loire. Rue Royale intersects rue Jeanne d’Arc, which leads to the Cathedral and Tourist Information Office at place Sainte-Croix. Farther down, rue Royale connects to rue de Bourgogne, where you’ll find Orléans’s best bars and restaurants. The tram (€1.50) runs between the train station and the river.
