Orientation

The main road, Georgios Embirikos, is paved with stones and runs through the length of town to Pl. Kairis closer to the water. A 5min. walk past the arch at the far end of Pl. Kairis brings you to the outer edge of town, where those in the know Tswim among the ruins of a Venetian castle off the landing at the bottom of the steps. Beaches branch to the left and right of Pl. Kairis. Most tavernas and shops can be found along the main street. The port is about an hour away by bus, and Batsi is 20min. away by car.
