MYKONOS

Mykonos Town, full of pristine white buildings and boutique-lined streets, is located on the western side of this 85 sq. km island. The town center is home to the island’s pricey hotels and pretty pensions as well as virtually all of its noteworthy sights and restaurants, plus some of its best bars. On the south end of Mykonos, Paradise Beach neighbors Paraga Beach. Here you’ll find some of Mykonos’s famous dance clubs as well as the island’s two biggest hostels, which are the best places to stay if you’re looking for cheap lodging packed with party-minded clubbers. If you’re staying at one of these beachside campgrounds, your day will likely involve busing to beaches around the island via the narrow, winding pathways that serve as roads. Goats, cows, and donkeys can be seen roaming around in the pastoral scenery between the charming class of Mykonos Town and the seedy southside beaches.
