Orientation

Jerez is not a particularly large or complicated city. Upon exiting the bus and train station on the edge of town, you’re only about a 10min. walk from the city center, found at Plaza del Arenal. Major streets like Calle Corredera and Calle Larga branch off the plaza and can guide you to loads of hotels and major shopping and sights, respectively. Further north in the city, beyond Plaza Mamelón, you’ll find some of the best museums and the main equestrian center of Jerez. Jerez is also particularly tourist-friendly with signs all over the city pointing you in the direction of the main sights and hot spots, whether wineries, museums, tourist offices, or restaurants.
