NERJA

Avenida de la Pescia is the street you’ll take upon entering Nerja and that you’ll use to visit the Cueva de Nerja. It has more of an industrial feel, but it’s also extremely efficient, packing in a police station, multiple supermarkets, a gas station, and bus stops all within a 5-10min. walk. Calle Pintada and Calle Almirante Ferrándiz take you from Av. la Pescia down to the beach, and you’ll find lots of shops, accommodations, and restaurants along them. C. Almirante Ferrándiz, with the help of Calle Los Huertos and Calle Rodríguez Acosta, also borders the historic center of the city. The “beach town” part of Nerja is found near the Balcón de Europa, Plaza Cavana, and Calle El Barrio and Calle Diputación.
