NORTH AMERICA
Overview
The US and Canada might not sound too exotic to the world traveler, but anyone who dismisses North America as mundane has a serious gap in their travel experience. The vast and diverse nations of North America contain incredible natural landscapes—incredible in the most literal sense, as in "too amazing to believe"—and exciting, fast-paced cities. From densely packed New York to sprawling Los Angeles, from the poutine you can eat in Montreal to the Putin you can see from Alaska, the US and Canada offer a continent of adventures that is, for many, not too far from home—at least geographically.
