Just Back From Italy - What An Adventure! |
What an incredible trip! I just got back from an unbelievable 3 months
in Italy. My trip started in the north, working my way from Venice to
Verona, then down to Florence. I spent 2 weeks in Tuscany and Umbria,
ending up in Rome. I then took the train down to Sicily where I spent
the final 3 weeks of my adventure. I can't wait to post all my photos
and share all my amazing adventures... stay tuned!
The most beautiful place in the world... |
I'd have to say it's the stretch of road in Tuscany between Pienza and Montepulciano, espcially in the late-afternoon golden sunlight.
My favorite destination... |
Bhaktapur, Nepal, near Kathmandu. Simply one of the most beautiful, colorful, and fascinating towns I've ever had the pleasure of exploring.
My favorite foreign food... |
It would have to be a toss-up between Wild Boar Stew and Polenta at the fabulous restaurant Cinghiale Bianco restaurant in Florence, and a bowl of Rose Dumplings, the regional specialty of Hoi An, Vietnam. Both delectable in their own right!
