Three more days of up & down Himalayan trekking! In this episode Seth & I must cross the treacherous Ngozumpa glacier, then climb across the Cho La pass at 17,500ft (5330m) and then summit Kala Pattar at 18,400ft or 5545m (higher than Everest Base Camp) for another outstanding view of the mother of all mountains, Mt Everest.

Seth & I start our trek from Lukla, Nepal to reach the tiny village of Gokyo. Our objective is to summit Gokyo Ri at 17,600ft (5,360m) in order to get a bird's eye view of Mt Everest. Six days of trekking and lots of grumbling was all that was required (as well as a porter if one could be had)....
